Our harnesses has been tested several times around the world by many racers.
#MOTOR SPORTS EVOM CRACK#
The Tefzel coated wire is loomed with your choice of loom (check above).Įach brand new connector is crimped with pneumatic heads to ensure an OEM crimp All heavy interference circuits are protected and grounded properly and no soldering is used at all on this harness (soldering can crack on vibration) only KET open barrel splicing everywhere its needed covered with adhesive heat-shrink as well.Īll ECU wires labeled and harness is 100% quality tested pin to pin, and Hi-pot tested before shipment.Ĭompletely made from scratch with the best aerospace materials and wiring management techniques used on aerospace and military. OHM Racing Plug & Play Wiring Harness offers Mil-Spec Tefzel wire ranging from 16AWG to 12AWG and brand new pins seals and connectors. This Mil-Spec OHM Racing Plug & Play Wire Harness was designed with a “tuck” in mind. Because if the coil was weak, but not totally failed, it wouldn't pass that test.Īnother thing about COP ignition, I don't know if this is the case with Mitsus, but some COP engines will never run right unless they have the exact OEM plugs.*Core of interior combination connectors no longer required* In fact running it on only one coil at a time was the point of that TSB. Here is a trick for testing COP coils that I learned from a Nissan service bulletin: you can disconnect the individual coils while the engine is running to find a faulty coil, in fact an EFI/COP 4 cyl _ engine will run (idle) with just one coil connected as long as it is a healthy coil with a good spark plug. I assume that an EVO has Coil on plug ignition. If it pressurizes quickly or the tank level rises it could be a faulty HG. Immediately go check and see if the cooling system pressurizes, and if it has a pressurized coolant tank, see if the level rises. Before doing anything else, open the radiator or coolant tank cap and check coolant level. This is what I would do for quick & dirty diagnostics:Ĭheck it out when the engine is completely cold.
